WHAT RIVET TO USE

What type of fastener do you need?

How is your vinyl is attached to the frame?

Vinyl straps are attached to your furniture by pins or clips. Using the illustrations below locate your type of strapping and order the necessary clips when you order your vinyl.

	Vinyl is notched on the ends and fits into a rectangular slot in the frame of the chair.

How is your vinyl wrapped around the frame?

SINGLE WRAP

The vinyl strap wraps 3/4 of the way around the frame. You can see the end of the vinyl. This style can use a plastic rivet. Check to see if the hole in the frame is drilled or pierced. Square frames use an E clip or S clip.

DOUBLE WRAP

The vinyl strap wraps around and on top of itself. The end of the vinyl is hidden. This style can uses a plastic rivet.

PVC AND SLOTTED CONVERSION

Use this rivet for plastic PVC type furniture or for slotted conversion. In the slotted method of strap attachent the frame has a rectangular slot that the vinyl is inserted into. To attach straps to this type of furniture you will need to follow our slotted conversion instructions. You will be drilling a 1/4" hole in the center of this slot and use a plastic rivet to attach the strap.

Measuring the length of your strap.

Using a flexible measuring tape, measure the distance from hole to hole in the chair frame. Make sure to go around the outside of the frame just like the strap is installed.

If you have double wrap make sure the measuring tape wraps around twice just like the vinyl. If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure the string.
